Board Positions:
• President presides at all League meetings, appoints and supervises committees, sees to it that rules are followed, investigates/disciplines Managers, gets insurance. Is in charge of all divisions, cannot manage or coach a team.
• Vice President presides in President’s absence, assists and advises, fund raising, in charge of 14-15 and travel divisions.
• Secretary records minutes, sends out meeting notices, maintains an official record of activities, reports news, handles insurance claims, provides copies of rules.
• Treasurer maintains funds, prepares budget, keeps records, reports to Board dispenses funds, maintains league sponsors is in charge of Prep division.
• Player Agent conducts registration, try-outs and draft, keeps rosters and waiting list, transfers players, makes sure Scorebooks are kept, keeps eligibility and in charge of concession stand. May not Manage or Coach a team.
• Member(s)-at-Large supervise fundraisers or other projects as designated by the President, manage the Senior Division.
• Equipment Manager procures and maintains, collects and inventories, stores and issues equipment, uniforms and baseballs.
• Umpire in Chief arranges for umpires for all games, makes the schedule and does reschedules, coordinates with the City, managers and umpires.
Other positions/committees needed to work with Board members:
• PR/Media Relations- Mission is to get BR published – schedule, signups, tryouts, game results, fundraisers
• Official Scorer – Work with PR/Media person to get BR game results published. Liaison between coaches, Board and newspapers. Also can be the official game scorer/keeper of results including pitchers innings, re-entry, W-L records, etc.
• Web Master – Keep the website up to date
• Fundraising committee - find ways to help offset expenses
